Why did you start KPA Property Management?

As investors ourselves, we know how important property management is.

KPA Property Management was born out of our search for an agency to manage our HMO portfolio in the Bristol area. We couldn’t find one that offered the level of service that we provided to our tenants and, looked after our houses in the way that we do, so we set up our own agency!

Our Mantra … Lettings without compromise

We believe, quite strongly, that having your properties managed shouldn’t be a compromise, in fact, quite the opposite, why would you pay for less?

After assessing the market, we couldn’t find an agency who:

Cared about their portfolio as much as we did.
Delivered the level of service we wanted to deliver.
Knew the market inside out, to maximise our rental income.
Knew the changing regulations and compliance, in detail, to keep us and our tenants safe.

So, in true KPA style, we created our own, built on compliance and with the desire to bring a high level of service to Landlords and Tenants alike – the service that we were looking for, but couldn’t find – and that’s how KPA Property Management was born.

As Landlords and investors ourselves, we understand what your concerns and motivations are as a Landlord – because they are ours too. Having invested in various projects, we can offer a range of services and advice, with confidence, working alongside you, to give you a great property management experience, without compromise!

What makes us different ?

KPA Property Management is part of The Key Group of companies; a group of family run businesses that have been operating since 1948. We have a customer centric, honesty first, approach to business, which has fostered many happy customer relationships over the years!

Our aim is to provide a truly passive property management experience for every landlord we work with, maximising the income from and keeping their greatest assets safe; ensuring that their tenants have a good service and a place to call home, not just a house that they live in.

Human Dynamo

Ben loves all things systems and tech and puts his maths degree to good use when stacking deals. A fun fact about Ben is that he played Rugby for both County and District in his teens and, whilst reading Mathematics, at the University of Bristol, he captained his boxing team, as a fully licensed ABA Boxer.

Angie

(Director)

The Mindreader

Angie loves all things people-related and really enjoys working closely with both Landlords and with Tenants. A fun fact about Angie is that in 2008 she raised just under £2000 for a spinal injuries charity, by swimming the channel.

Peregrine

The Numbers Man

Peregrine is a great spreadsheet and details guy and, puts his love of both to good use, as the company Finance Director. A fun fact about Peregrine is that he was part of the Government Consultation Body, by invitation, that advised on the RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive).

Eve Martin

(Lettings Manager)

The Juggler

Eve is known affectionately in the office as “the Juggler” - whether you’re a landlord needing an update, a tenant with an issue or a team member with a question – then Eve is your girl. With many years of student HMO lettings experience, Eve is well used to multi-tasking! When not working, Eve loves skiing and is partial to a Hot Chocolate on the slopes!

The oracle

Team KPA know Ara as "The Oracle" because she has an encyclopedic knowledge of property facts and of The Bristol Market. Ara is a huge anime fan and her favourite character is Naruto.

Armani Hamilton

Mr Pizzazz

Born & Bred in Bristol Armani is our "Mr Pizzazz", with exceptional local knowledge he knows his Blaise Castle from his Castle Park. Armani has a hand in the extraordinary he was born with a unique trait - 6 fingers on his right hand, adding a dash of magic to his already dashing personality.

Every office has its unsung hero and Regz is ours, we don't know where we would be without her in charge of property management. Not your typical girly girl, Regz doesn't care for shoes and handbags but instead she loves to buy household items, like curtains, throws & pillows!

Always with his eye on the ball Rich keeps everyone in the office in check, making sure all i's are dotted and t's are crossed! Rich's favourite time of the year is Christmas and he starts celebrating in September, making his own instruments for Christmas Karoke with the family!

Nothing escapes Abbey's attention as she has a photographic memory, remembering dates without any reminder and she has never missed a birthday!

The team are one of the best parts of KPA, so to be shortlisted for such a coveted award was a huge feather in the cap for us. The judges said they loved our progressive and inclusive approach to nurturing every member of the team.

One to Watch 2020

We were very proud to be recognised at the inaugural Bristol Property Awards as one of the ones to watch in 2020! 2020 was a tumultuous year but at KPA Property Management we continued to grow and improve our service. We achieved a void rate of 0.02% for the whole year, something we are very proud of!

Product Innovation Award 2020

It is humbling to be shortlisted by the FSB, given their prestige! We were shortlisted for the product innovation award for our novel way of working with both tenants and landlords, doing our best to redefine the meaning of lettings; forging our own path of lettings without compromise!

Property Management Company of the Year 2019

The Negotiator is one of the biggest industry publications, so you can imagine our excitement at being selected as finalists in the category of Property Management Company of the Year 2019! The judges said they loved our customer first approach and how we were able to tailor our offer to each of our landlords’ unique needs!

It is always an honour to be recognised and KPA Property are very proud to be a multi-award winning agency. Most recently we won “The Best Residential Agent” at the prestigious Bristol Property Awards 2023 and “The Innovation Award” at the UK Business Awards 2023.

Ben and Angie of KPA Property Management are also proud partners and hosts of the Property Networking Community, Partners in Property’s Bristol event and, in addition to this, give a regular lettings update spot at The Bristol Property Meet property networking event.

They also created and manage many regional Landlords support groups, including The Bristol Landlords Group, as a free resource for landlords and a place to share local knowledge and experience.
